Project description
The project is conceived as a full scale bungalow serving as a prototype for a future hotel development in Boracay.
Designed as a complete apartment unit, the proposal investigates spatial organization, materiality, and living quality within a tropical context.
The bungalow integrates living, sleeping, kitchen, and outdoor spaces into a compact yet generous layout. Rather than a conventional hotel room,
the unit functions as a residential apartment, allowing the concept to be tested at one to one scale before being translated into a larger hospitality structure.
The architectural approach focuses on climate responsive design, natural ventilation, shaded transition zones, and a strong connection between interior and landscape. T
he project explores how residential typologies can inform contemporary hospitality architecture through clarity, adaptability, and repetition.
