Architect and Artist

Aaron Kohler is an architect and artist whose work is shaped by a strong architectural foundation and an intuitive artistic sensibility. His approach unites spatial clarity with emotional depth, creating architecture that is both precise and atmospheric.

His work spans a broad range of typologies, including custom homes, villas, commercial and retail buildings, educational facilities, museums, mixed use developments, and urban planning. Working across Switzerland and internationally, his projects are informed by context, scale, and a strong sense of narrative.

Architecture is developed through composition, proportion, and material presence. Scale, geometry, repetition, and the interplay of light, surface, and construction form the basis of his design thinking. Alongside architectural practice, a close relationship with professional photography informs the studio’s visual language and the way projects are perceived and communicated.

MARC STRAUMANN

Architect

Marc Straumann is an architect whose work is defined by precision, technical depth, and a strong understanding of feasibility and execution. His approach combines architectural clarity with strategic thinking, ensuring that design ambition is consistently translated into buildable and economically sound solutions.

Over the course of his career, he has worked across a wide range of typologies, from residential and educational buildings to large scale industrial projects and master planning. His projects are shaped by a deep understanding of building regulations, construction systems, and technical coordination, forming the backbone of the studio’s architectural reliability.

Architecture is developed through structure, logic, and careful control of process. Marc’s design thinking integrates feasibility, resource efficiency, and execution from the earliest stages, allowing projects to balance architectural quality with long term value. His background in business engineering management strengthens the studio’s ability to align design, cost, and delivery within complex development contexts.
