KOHLERSTRAUMANN is an architecture studio based in Basel, working on residential, mixed use and large scale development projects in Switzerland and abroad.

Architects and Designers
Current status
At the moment, no specific architectural position is advertised.
That said, we are always interested in meeting:
• Architects with strong design and execution knowledge
• Junior Architects with a solid technical base and ambition
• Architectural Designers with excellent spatial thinking and visual skills
• Interns with a serious and structured interest in architecture
Experience with housing projects, competitions, and complex planning processes is an advantage. Fluency in German is required for most roles.
Bauleiter Site Manager
We are open to connecting with experienced Bauleiter Site Managers for current and future projects.
This role is critical within our practice and closely integrated with the architectural team.
Typical scope
• Site management and coordination of contractors
• Quality control, cost awareness and schedule supervision
• Interface between client, planners and on site execution
• Review of execution drawings and details
• Ensuring architectural intent is carried through to realization
Profile
• Proven experience as Bauleiter or Site Manager in Switzerland
• Strong knowledge of Swiss construction standards and processes
• Structured, reliable and solution oriented working style
• Clear communication and leadership on site
• Respect for architecture and detailing
German is mandatory. Experience with residential and development projects is a strong plus.
